i got a mass email that has something to do with celtic astrology and trees. from my birthdate, i got this:
Apple Tree (the Love) -- quiet and shy at times, lots of charm, appeal, and attraction, pleasant attitude, flirtatious smile, adventurous, sensitive, loyal in love, wants to love and be loved, faithful and tender partner, very generous, many talents, loves children, needs affectionate partner.
when i fact, i'm more like this:
Walnut Tree (the Passion) -- unrelenting, strange and full of contrasts, often egotistic, aggressive, noble, broad horizon, unexpected reactions, spontaneous, unlimited ambition, no flexibility, difficult and uncommon partner, not always liked but often admired, ingenious strategist, very jealous and passionate, no compromise.
i think i'm 20% apple and 80% walnut. emphasis on nut.
while we're on the subject, i'm a zodiac cancer, a pig on the chinese equivalent. i'm also an intj per myers briggs. the thespark.com personality test once determined that i'm the scientist. whatever.
astrology makes for a fun read but it's no more accurate than fortune cookies. if you have time to spare, take the myers briggs. at least it has some factual basis in type casting a person. let me know what yours is.
