it has been an uneventful week. i haven't much to show today except the lunch party my office had on wednesday at the yatch club to celebrate the company's 20th anniversay.

and at the other end
view of the break water from the yatch club
it was an okay lunch. i had sea food ciopino, not the best i've ever had. it was nice to be down by the water. it's surprising how seldom i see the beach. i only live half a mile away.
i took my time walking back from lunch along the marina. i like seeing small fish and crabs in the clear shallow water.
cancer in the water
lone seaweed
serena d santa barbara
move along, bikes
and don't swim
typical of my bosses' management style, we had to go back to work after the party. very anti-climactic.
school of shrieking kids
then, guess who pulled up next to me at the intersection?
cancer on the road
that's orion. he works at my office and has the same birthday i do. when he saw me he turned up the reggae and stuck his head out to shout "this song is for you!" if it wasn't for those kids crossing the road, i would have run (ran?) the red light to escape the embarrassment.
last night g, b, and i had our second girls night out. i had a headache but i couldn't pass up a chance to shop. while the purchases were kept under control, the chon chon talk got way out of hand. my achy head nearly exploded from all the laughing. i guess that's a risk i take for hanging around catholic girls.
