that's from the anthropologie gift 2006 catalog. get your hands on a copy if you can. lots of neat ideas for knitting.

it's crazy how ridiculously expensive everything is. i enjoy sneering at the price tags on the simply knit stuff. any knitter would.

Let's see, wit $198, I guess I can buy enough cashmerino for three or four scarves. Or a couple of vests. Of course, cashmerino is not 100% cashmere, but who's going to notice? I''m glad your site is up again (or was it ever down? Maybe it was me).

Thanks for visiting my blog! I `ve been thinking about Rapunzel a lot., and will give it a try - in January, I guess. As much as my fingers itch to start experimenting, there`s some Christmas knitting to finish first.

About art and pastries: I`m a bit embarrassed to admit that beforehand I was more enthusiastic about eating a black square than seeing it (though seeing what the museum`s like made me enthusiastic about that, too). And then I just had to sneakily snap a photo of the painting - luckily nobody saw.

I was looking at getting this for my wife, but it's about $200 too expensive. Did anyone have the pattern for this particular hat?

Has anyone found a pattern for this hat yet? It's a great piece, but I agree with everyone that the price is way too high. I also saw them being sold last year in Central Park for $300. I'd love to make one, but I'm not sure where to start.

I'm working on knitting a Rapunzel Snow Cap-inspired hat. I am using a really soft yarn, but it doesn't have the halo of the Anthropologie cap.
