shortly after i saw this video i decided to knit a sweater with some text on it. except i don't know of any clever words to use. as i am resisting the urge to use schmeebot, i am asking for your help.

so, if you could think of a good word or two which i may use, please suggest. and if you'd like to knit a sweater with some text on it, please join me!

That video was hilarious! What about making a sweater that says "I Made This" on the front?

Okay, that is a tempting proposition, worded sweater......that is a thinker.....I vote we all knit our favorite nickname. firebrunette for me, brainyfox for tracy, and thuy what would your favorite nickname be??
Other words to think about...geek...mod...chick...pinup...heartthrob...
what about high school mascots? mine...cougars...but I had zero hs pride so that is out for me
Just some thoughts!

How about your favorite equation? My husband proudly displays his on a handknitted hat.

i don't know why i think you're so crazy, maybe it's the counfounded-ness of the video (ever seen the milk and cereal one?) but where did the sweater idea come from? sounds awesome tho >.<

For some reason 'spored' and 'angle' come to mind (not 'angel').

I don't have a favorite nickname (in hs I was 'spaz' - bleh) and we were the 'warriors', which I would pass having on my chest.

Of course you could just be annoying and have a 'mispelled' word - like I just wrote.

I'm wondering how you would knit the word in the round. Would you carry the yarn? Or knit intarsia? Or would you knit in on after the sweater was complete?

I like the "deep fried" idea. Or you could knit the word of your favorite junk food.

how about knit somthing like cheek or down back wards though to encourage people to use their brains when they see the word and have to do a scramble to realize what it says? like this, keehc ,or nowd, good for helping people to use it or lose it sort of. just my weird first thing in the morning idea.

how about " wake up "

gopi
