dear matcha,
it has been a five days since i said goodbye to you. my trip to california was relatively short and pleasantly restful. i arrived in san francisco two days ago, safe and sound.
yesterday i spent the majority of the day getting familiar with the apartment. it is small and comfortable although it could be a bit more tidy.
today i've been moving from window to window studying the streets. i live on the fourth floor so i have sweeping views of the neighborhood. i wish the fog would lift so i could see farther than just down the block.
i miss being able to lie and bask in the sunlight and, of course, i miss you. i hope you are doing fine. enjoy the warmth of arizona for me.
