i was searching for hiking destinations near sacramento when i found that. isn't it an awesome sight? too bad it's almost entirely private property. access is available but very limited. there's a $35 fee and, worse yet, the hiking is conducted in groups.
still, i would like to go for the north butte summit one day. hopefully with a few good friends to make the group situation more bearable.
