as much as i love fair isle yoke sweaters, i have never successfully knit one. not for lack of trying though. first, the zimmermann. then, the norwegian. for one reason or another, i failed at both.
isn't it a lovely sweater? it's from knitknit, a book which i just borrowed from the library. i don't care for the excessive use of colors, but i really like the layout, especially the lice.
i have already begun mapping out the pattern, but i won't be able to start knitting for a while. plus, this will be my third attempt at a fair isle yoke sweater; i want to be sure of it before casting on.
