i saw this down by the beach the weekend before last:
kelp roots
the way the roots intertwine instantly made me think of cables. can you see them? some fancy cable work, yes?
i have a soft spot for cables. there's something very oraganic and elegant about them. unfortunately, they're still small feats for me. my stitches are very irregular when i knit cables. i wonder if there's a trick to them.
