i need this unfortunate book. as if the price isn't ridiculous enough, there's a $30 tax on top of it. thankfully, my friend april has membership and she kindly agreed to get me a copy. i gladly wrote her a check for an estimated sum.
a week later april emailed to say she had overestimated the shipping cost by $3.50. i did not care to get it back seeing how she saved me $190.
but that's what she sent me. i love the double shrink wrap job. looks like it arrived straight from the publisher that way. i've been staring at it for days and i still can't get over it.
i saw those mugs at kamei on clement street yesterday. i hadn't shopped there for some six months. see if you can guess which one suckered me for eight bucks.
i couldn't decide which image to pair with which. doesn't that one tree look like an octopus in disguise? it also looks like a mutant moose head to me.
i'm having a blast with these diptychs. the pairing reminds me of those analogies on the sat. i could never quite figure them out. and, as you can see, i still can't.
