this storm, it's been hard and incessant. i heard hail hitting my windows last night. there were moments when i thought the creek was at my front door.
i have the door to my office propped open for some air flow right now and guess who's back?

wish i got a better picture but that's a bird with an entire grass stalk hanging from its beak. before i could zoom in for a better shot, it got spooked and flew off. it couldn't fly away fast enough!

it is now 10:11 and the grass stalk is still lying there in the parking lot. sad. although it looks like the bird has managed to pack some already.
