this would be the third skirt andrea has made for me. it arrived just in time because i have pretty well worn out the first two, especially the first one. i've washed it so much that the zipper is beginning to come undone.

look at the matching job at the pockets. can you believe it? i love this skirt pattern because i can fit all manners to junk in the pockets and it would not show. for instance:
i took that picture of tom+rubayi last night when we went to knapp's castle. it was a spontaneous trip suggested by rubayi and we couldn't have done it on a better evening.

i had only been to knapp's once before some ten years ago so i couldn't remember much about it. i also took the long way up from paradise road. last night we took the short trail from east camino cielo. we had the whole place to ourselves.

it was rather cold and windy during sunset but we stuck around to watch the intensifying colors. we left around 7:45. the moon was so bright that we could see our shadows.

earlier in the day i met connor for lunch. we went to cafe shell, where my axxess card offers a 2-for-1 deal. anyway, i hadn't seen him since july so there was a lot to catch up. my "house special" sandwich was lackluster but my dessert was delicious!
