beeze invited me to his wedding four days before the date. it was pretty good of him considering how his buddies were invited the morning of. anyway, it was a very small and intimate wedding. i would have liked it better if i didn't have an exam to cram for.

the two day long exam was in pomona. jg graciously decided to come along and camp at roach motel with me. i sure appreciated the moral support.

building 4 had my name on it
look at the crates of books the guy on the right took to the exam. some people had twice that many. all my books fitted in a carry on luggage. i probably failed.
a herd of nerds, the collective brain power of which could easily knock out the entire powergrid of southern california

it was the first time i witnessed a line to the men's room while the women's room was empty.

exam ended at 6:30 pm saturday. with bloodshot eyes appropriate for halloween, i ordered jg to get me the hell out of pomona.
hallelujah
it was the roughest week for me for as long as i can remember. i didn't deal with all the pressure very well. the day beeze called me, itchy patches broke out all over my legs. i had to go see the doctor to get it under control. i'm so glad this entire episode is over.
i was lamenting to jg the other day about how they don't make brown cars anymore. my very first car was a toyota corona and it was a nice brown much like the color of that z5.
having princess cake for thanksgiving has now become an annual thanksgiving tradition. this year jg and i spent the holiday with my folks in san jose. unlike last year, i didn't get all the attendants' names written on the cake. it would have been impossible seeing how there are 30 of us.
i had a great thanksgiving. i hope you did, too.
*thanks to eva, pioggia, steve, mary, and erin for letting me know schmeebot was down. and thanks to my super-webmaster for resurrecting the ugly brown blog!
last year i wrote you a bit too late so i got nothing on my list. i was a bit bummed, but i got over it. this year i figure i'd give you a headstart.
those eames chairs must not fit on the sleigh very well; i've asked for one for years and still haven't received any.
anyway, i hear the rebel xti is fairly lightweight and easy to tote. so if you are tight on space, just strap one on your neck. then you can just drop it off as you fly over salinas place. i'll be waiting to catch it on the roof.
please try not to let me down this year. thanks, santa. you rock!
